Scouting In Franklin County
Scouting stretches the
length and breadth of Franklin County!
From Rowe
Falls to New Salem - Northfield to
Ashfield
and virtually every community in
between, the Great Trails Council serves
the young people of Franklin County. Not only are these
young people in
the Scouting program - they are giving
back to their communities making them a
better place to live. They collect
canned goods, keep the highways clean,
scrub, paint, help the elderly and much,
much more! You can feel a sense of
pride that you support goes a long way
in the Great Trails Council helping
serve our youth.
The
Great Trails Council is the local
not-for profit organization chartered to
the Boy Scouts of America to build and
support the programs of Scouting in our
area. The Council, based in Dalton, Massachusetts,
covers Berkshire, Franklin, and
Hampshire counties.
